MVP has addressed reuniting The Hurt Business outside of WWE along with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
In August, both MVP and Bobby Lashley would depart WWE at the end of their contracts – with reports a month prior suggesting the pair could look to reform The Hurt Business along with fellow free agent Shelton Benjamin.
While we haven’t seen the faction show up in AEW or anywhere else since then, MVP did recently tease that we could see them back together again during a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing – but did suggest it would be under a different name than The Hurt Business.
MVP said:
“The Hurt Business is dead and it was killed off by the powers that be. Myself, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are talking amongst ourselves about what we want to do going forward. Stay tuned.”
For what its worth a recent trademark filing for The Hurt Syndicate was made for wrestling purposes from a company known as Totally Harmless Concept, LLC – the same company that had also previously filed to trademark the name MVP.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on a potential MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin reunion as/when they become available.
In other news, MVP recently addressed the contract status of fellow ex-Hurt Business stablemate Cedric Alexander – who still remains signed to WWE – follow this link for full details.
