WWE star MVP has now reacted to recent reports about his hotel confrontation with AEW star Chris Jericho.
It was noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that after their falling out around 18 months ago, MVP and Jericho had a tense ‘confrontation‘ in a hotel in Houston, Texas in May.
Per the report, Jericho was with Matt Hardy when approached by MVP. While ‘nothing bad happened’, it was reportedly a ‘tense situation.’
Indicating that there was some truth to the story, but some of the details were inaccurate, MVP has since tweeted:
“Even when they get the story right, they get the details wrong. Gotta love the dirt sheets. ?”
While MVP didn’t clarify which details he was disputing, he liked several tweets suggesting that the point about him ‘screaming about it in the lobby’ was bogus.
Chris Jericho has yet to respond to the report, or MVP’s comments.
We will continue to provide any updates on the situation as they become available.
Even when they get the story right, they get the details wrong. Gotta love the dirt sheets. 😏
