MVP Shares Thoughts On Hurt Syndicate AEW Reunion AEW

Bobby Lashley is officially All Elite, bringing three members of WWE’s The Hurt Business faction together in AEW.

On September 25, 2024, MVP made his debut at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam seeking to make Swerve Strickland an offer.

The 5th Anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite would see MVP introduce his business partner in the form of Shelton Benjamin.

With Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract expiring in August 2024, many rumors swirled over a move to AEW and a reunion with his Hurt Business teammates.

Tony Khan revealed that Lashley was “All Elite” in a post to Twitter confirming that The Hurt Syndicate would open last night’s AEW Dynamite.

MVP would later react to Lashley’s arrival in AEW with a tweet that read:

“I have to tell you, making money doing business with your friends is pretty damn cool. 😎”

Lashley was confirmed to face Swerve Strickland at AEW Full Gear which takes place on November 23, 2024.

The only member of The Hurt Business to not join the Syndicate is Cedric Alexander who remains under WWE contract.

During their time in WWE, The Hurt Business members held the WWE Championship (Lashley) and United States Championship (again, Lashley), while Alexander and Benjamin held the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

The Hurt Business would also hold the 24/7 Championship, with Benjamin being a three-time champion and Alexander holding it once.
