“My Sister’s Hot” – Shane McMahon On Incest Storyline

Let’s face it, the McMahon’s are a peculiar family, and Shane McMahon has just opened a can of extra weird worms for us all to marvel at.

Appearing on the Opie Radio podcast, Shane was asked about the rumoured incest storyline that his own father Vince McMahon pitched. Imagine pitching an incest storyline involving your two children. Actually, you know what, don’t.

Opie recalled how one-time WWE writer Bruce Pritchard had appeared on his podcast recently, where he talked about Vince wanting to do the aforementioned incest angle. Bruce supposedly  stepped in and said they shouldn’t do the angle. Thanks Bruce.

Responding to this news, Shane McMahon said, well, he said:

“Well, my sister’s hot. I don’t know if I would’ve really minded that.”

Apparently he was joking. I really hope he was joking.

Shane went on to say that he’d never even heard the idea had been pitched, and that he once had to refuse to slap his own mother Linda on TV, despite Vince, you know, Linda’s husband, telling him to.

Wrestling…

To prove his point, Opie called Pritchard live on air and asked him for some more information.

“It was during the time when Stephanie was pregnant and Vince was trying to figure out if he could work that into a storyline. It was an entire Sunday, an entire day of my life that I will never get back,” Prichard said.

“That was always one of the things, whenever he’d [Vince] come up with crazy stuff like that. It would be like, ‘Well, who’s going to let Shane know?’ The funny thing is, we were all on the phone going over everything and it was classic Vince. ‘What if I was the father?’ Then there’s nervous laughter because no one thinks he’s serious but then it became, ‘Well, what if?'”

Shane said he was thankful that Bruce had stepped in to stop Vince getting carried away with the idea.

“Sometimes he [Vince] just does it for his own amusement,”

Weird.
