To end AEW Dynamite tonight (September 27) in a cliffhanger, a mystery faction attacked a top star as the show went off the air.
After a contract signing segment between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page ended Dynamite, there was a quick cut to a backstage attack already in progress.
While the moment started murky as to not only who was delivering the beatdown but also, who was getting attacked, soon it was clear that the victim of the assault was Switchblade Jay White.
As the show was going off the air, Jay White was seen being attacked by four mysteriously masked men in all black.
When the cameraperson got closer, then a fifth person dressed in all black appeared, wearing the signature ‘Devil’ mask of MJF.
However, the consensus is that the man wearing the mask was in fact NOT MJF based on his figure.
None of the four attackers, nor who was wearing the MJF ‘Devil’ mask, were revealed.
MJF has appeared multiple times in the ‘Devil’ mask, first upon making his mysterious return at AEW All Out 2022 in the Casino Battle Royale.
