A name for a new Bray Wyatt faction character has possibly been revealed, following speculation about a potential ‘Wyatt 6’ faction.
Following Wyatt’s WWE comeback at Extreme Rules, the returning star cut an emotional promo in the closing moments of the October 14 edition of SmackDown.
Wyatt was notably cut off by a figure wearing the mask he wore at the recent Premium Live Event, before the screen cut to Wyatt’s new logo and the show went off the air.
This segment only fuelled speculation about a rumored ‘Wyatt 6’ faction, with fans theorizing about the masked persona who appeared on screen.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the mask brought in for the Wyatt segments has been referred to as an ‘Uncle Howdy” mask internally.
Interestingly, WWE filed to trademark the name ‘Uncle Howdy’ with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) on October 8. WWE also filed to trademark ‘Uncle Harper’, which appears to be an homage to ‘Luke Harper’, the WWE character of the late Brodie Lee.
Recent reports have indicated that not only does WWE have plans to form a stable around Wyatt, the company has plans for the group through April 2023, up to WrestleMania 39.
