WWE star Naomi has reacted to Claudio Castagnoli’s AEW debut at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Castagnoli wrestled Zack Sabre Jr at the event after being revealed to be Bryan Danielson’s mystery replacement.

Several WWE talents have celebrated Claudio’s debut on social media, including Becky Lynch and Xavier Woods.

Naomi has since taken to Twitter to note:

Claudio left WWE in February after his WWE contract expired. He has reportedly agreed to a long-term deal with AEW, which you can read more about at this link.

Naomi hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since her and Sasha Banks were suspended after walking out during the May 16 WWE Raw taping. She has made several posts on social media following her suspension, but hasn’t directly addressed her WWE status.

A number of recent reports have indicated that Sasha Banks has been released from her WWE contract. Banks was recently spotted with a new look.
