Sasha Banks and Naomi, formerly known as Team B.A.D. are back and they’re coming for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured Naomi at ringside for Sasha Banks’ match against Shotzi whereby after Sasha’s victory, Naomi jumped in the ring with a mic to make an announcement:
“I just want to say, you’re looking at the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions!”
Naomi and Sasha previously teamed with one another, along with Tamina forming Team B.A.D. which heavily feuded with Team Bella comprised of the Bella Twins and Alicia Fox.
WWE is reportedly putting heavy emphasis on mainstream, celebrity involvement for WrestleMania 38 including reports of matches planned for Johnny Knoxville versus Sami Zayn, The Miz and Logan Paul taking on The Mysterios.
With new reports detailing an in-ring match between Pat McAfee and Vince McMahon himself, could Team B.A.D. be preparing to reignite their feud with the Bella Twins to create some buzz for the most stupendous two nights of premium live events?
The Bella Twins have previously stated that they were planned for a program after WrestleMania 35 against The Iiconcs for the Women’s Tag Team Championships however a week before their scheduled in-ring return, Nikki Bella was informed she would not be medically cleared to compete by her surgeon after discovering a cyst in her brain.
