An update has emerged on the weather forecast for Nashville ahead of Saturday night’s SummerSlam premium live event.
According to previous reports, WWE has a contingency plan in place for a possible weather delay, with a potential thunderstorm on the way.
Per PWInsider, the weather forecast in Nashville is currently listed as cloudy with a 20% chance of rain. Storms reportedly aren’t expected until 2AM on Sunday (July 31), so WWE will likely not have to worry about a weather delay tonight.
Eight matches have been announced for the main card of SummerSlam 2022. The premium live event will be headlined by a Last Man Standing bout, with Brock Lesnar set to challenge for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Mr Money in the Bank Theory has been teasing a cash-in ahead of this bout. Theory will challenge for Bobby Lashley’s United States Championship during the show.
Both women’s titles will be on the line at the Biggest Party of the Summer, with Bianca Belair to defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch, and Liv Morgan to face Ronda Rousey in a SmackDown Women’s Title rematch.
