Natalya Reveals Why She Created ‘Nattie Neidhart’ Character Without WWE

Natalya has revealed why she created the ‘Nattie Neidhart’ character without waiting for WWE creative to bring it to life.

Nattie Neidhart has been the character that the WWE veteran has taken onto the independent wrestling scene.

Being a mix of her many years in the business and a much more dangerous edge, Natalya has previously said she’s bring her to WWE television if there were plans to “handle her very carefully.”

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Natalya spoke about not built ‘Nattie’ without WWE, saying:

“I’m so passionate about what I’ve built alone, I built Nattie alone. I did not have any help building her.

“I did not have, and this isn’t a diss to WWE, this isn’t a diss to anyone, this is just me speaking from my heart. I’ve worked on her alone; I didn’t wait for anybody to come to me with an idea.

“I didn’t wait for the machine to get behind it. I just wanted to build her and show everyone.”

She would go on to say that other wrestlers can’t wait for WWE creative to hand them opportunities due to the fast-moving nature of the business, stating:

“I’ve been in WWE for a long time, and I’m telling you… You cannot wait for other people to just hand you sh*t.

“You cannot just wait for the writers to come up with a grandiose idea or for Triple H to be like, ‘Hey, I was thinking, ‘ they have so much going on. This company is ever-moving; it’s moving so fast.”

“I mean, Triple H has got like 18 jobs. He’s now got a job at the White House. He’s the busiest person I’ve ever met in my life. Thankfully, he’s young and energetic, and he’s able to do all of it.

“But I’m not going to wait for him to come up with the perfect idea for me, because to me, those moments, you’ve got to find inspiration in yourself. Nobody knows Nattie better than Nattie knows Nattie.”

At GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV on August 2, Nattie Neidhart defeat former TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich.

After the match over WWE SummerSlam weekend, Neidhart would state that Slamovich brought her to her limits.
