Last night’s (May 10) episode of NXT 2.0 was an unofficial ‘ladies’ night’ for the brand.
Every single match on the show featured women’s stars in action, with the main event seeing Natalya defeat Cora Jade by technical submission.
Natalya herself took to Twitter following the women’s heavy show, heaping praise on WWE producer Fit Finlay, who she claims ‘laid the foundation’ for the women in the company.
She wrote:
Last night’s @WWENXT was a very special show dominated by women. The man who laid down the foundation for the women in @WWE to have what we have today is Fit Finlay. What a privilege it was to work with him last night and be a part of the magic he creates. @ringfox1
Natalya is set to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship on this Friday’s (May 13) episode of SmackDown.
