NBA Champion Wants To Work With WWE WWE

2016 NBA Champion Richard Jefferson has now revealed that he has aspirations to work with WWE either on Raw or at WrestleMania.

Speaking on the The Broadcast Boys Show, the current ESPN analyst noted that he wants to referee a WWE match in the future.

Noting that the next time he officiates a contest, he wants it to be a pro-wrestling match, he said:

“Right now, I’m looking. I’m gonna put this out there live on Broadcast Boys.

“I want to referee at Raw or WrestleMania. I wanna do it… I’m gonna put it out there.

“The next time I do any kind of referee jersey, it’s gonna be at WrestleMania or Raw.”

The biggest question I have following Jefferson’s comments is… what’s wrong with SmackDown?

Jefferson notably officiated during the NBA Summer League, which is why he specified that he’s interested in being a referee for a different kind of match.

Monday’s (June 5) edition of Raw featured a big main event, with Seth Rollins making his first televised defence of the new World Heavyweight Championship in a match against Damian Priest.
