Following the Europe tour announcement, a new report has revealed that Netflix is “open” to making a potential WWE Raw change.
On November 4, WWE officially announced that they will be visiting Europe for a special Road To WrestleMania tour that will see both Raw and SmackDown tapings take place in different countries.
With shows airing in Spain, Scotland and England in the weeks leading to WrestleMania 41, many fans wondered how this would effect the airing of WWE Raw with the upcoming move to Netflix in January 2025.
During the latest WrestleVotes Radio on the SK Backstage Pass Patreon, it was reported that Netflix is open to airing WWE Raw live when it tours Europe next March. WrestleVotes said:
“Netflix is absolutely open to the idea of broadcasting those Raw shows live as they happen.”
“We could be looking at some afternoon Raws right in the middle of WrestleMania season.”
“We’re told that WWE is considering the idea, no decision one way or the other. But Netflix is on board for doing those shows live as they happen. Of course SmackDown will be on tape delay from USA network, nothing changing there.”
WWE star Tiffany Stratton has pitched a new championship with WWE Raw’s upcoming arrival on Netflix, which you can read at this link here.
