AEW
A brand new addition has been made to the official AEW roster page, with a member of the Spanish language broadcast team officially recognised as All Elite.
That’s because the new addition is for Spanish color commentator Alvaro Riojas, who took to Twitter to celebrate the news.
Riojas tweeted:
“Friends! I have been officially added to the AEW page!
“The little boy who dreamed that one day he would be part of the world of professional wrestling is today on a higher floor.”
(Translated from Spanish)
Alongside Riojas is former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa, who has been contributing to the Spanish announce team since February as she awaits receiving the all clear for her return from injury.
The latest status update on Rosa came via Fightful Select (subscription required) who reported that there is growing concern that the 36-year-old will require surgery on her back.
If this ends up being the case it will of course result in an even longer layoff, extending her already nine month stint on the sidelines.

Amigos! He sido agregado oficialmente a la pagina de AEW!
El chamaquito que soñaba que un día iba ser parte del mundo de la lucha libre profesional hoy se encuentra en un piso más alto 🙏🏼 https://t.co/li5C15IsO9
