Ahead of the highly anticipated debut broadcast of AEW Collision on June 17, a brand new future date and venue has now been announced.
The date in question is Saturday, July 29 with AEW set to make their first ever appearance in Hartford, CT.
The July 29 edition of Collision will be hosted by the XL Center, a venue that has hosted several WWE events in the past, including this past Monday’s Raw (June 5).
Following Collision’s debut at Chicago’s United Center, the new show will join the rest of AEW’s programming in its tour of Canada as the following four broadcasts take place in Toronto, Hamilton, Regina and Alberta.
With CM Punk set to return for Collision at the first ever show in Chicago on June 17, there has been an update on ticket sales since Punk’s appearance was officially announced.
As well as Punk, the Collision roster is set to feature the returns of other long-absent AEW stars such as Miro, Thunder Rosa, Andrade El Idolo and Scorpio Sky.
On this week’s Dynamite (June 7) Tony Khan also announced the first ever main event of Collision featuring none other than CM Punk for his first match in over nine months, as he’ll team with FTR against Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson and Jay White.
Khan would also recently provide comment on Punk for the first time properly since All Out 2022, to find out what AEW’s President had to say on Punk’s return, click this link.
