New AEW Hurt Syndicate Member Officially Confirmed

New AEW Hurt Syndicate Member Officially Confirmed AEW

A new member of the Hurt Syndicate faction has officially been confirmed as of tonight’s May 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Over the past few weeks, MJF has been trying to earn his way into the Hurt Syndicate by gaining approval from all three of its members – MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.

MVP accepted MJF straight away due to their history going back many years, and Shelton Benjamin came around after a little time.

However, Bobby Lashley was much harder to convince, and it took MJF destroying both Darius and Dante Martin to impress Lashley.

Last week, Lashley finally gave MJF the thumbs up, and an official contract signing to induct MJF into the Hurt Syndicate was set for tonight’s show.

The in-ring contract signing segment took place, and the deal was done without too many issues – MJF is officially in the Hurt Syndicate.

There was no betrayal from either side, nor was there a debut from Cedric Alexander, as some fans have been predicting now that he’s a free agent following his WWE release in February.

The only interruption came from Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara who came out onto the ramp, with Rhodes cutting a promo ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship match against Benjamin and Lashley at Double Or Nothing this Sunday.
