New AEW Signing Debuts On Dynamite

A new AEW signing made their debut on tonight’s episode of Dynamite following weeks of teases following Double or Nothing.

In recent weeks, AEW Dynamite viewers have spotted teasers for a new arrival, with a graphic of a red spider making numerous appearances on the screen during recent shows.

The teases were for the arrival of former STARDOM star Thekla, who became a free agent last month after being kayfabe fired from Stardom for attacking President Taro Okada.

Following her free agency, it was announced that Thekla had signed with AEW, with her being backstage during recent shows, including Double or Nothing.

On tonight’s episode of Dynamite following Double or Nothing, Jamie Hayter came to the ring to discuss her defeat to Mercedes Mone at the pay-per-view, before she was quickly cut off by the lights going off.

When they came back on, Thekla was in the ring and laid out Jamie before posing for the camera.

Elsewhere in the women’s division on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford defeated Harley Cameron and Anna Jay in a no DQ match.
