It’s come to light that a new signing to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) signing isn’t only a wrestler but also has an interesting backstage role.
The promotion announced the signing of Shawn Dean in March, but Fightful Select has provided some more details.
The site reports that Dean is actually serving as the “extras coordinator” for AEW.
This means he’ll be interacting with the extras (unsigned jobbers) as a liaison between them and the promotion.
Dean started working for AEW during the pandemic but has yet to win a match. His 2021 record so far is 0-8.
