AEW
The AEW All In Texas Casino Gauntlet matches for both the men and women played host to some surprise entrants as expected.
First up was the men’s match, which opened up with Mark Briscoe and MJF.
As far as surprise entrants, the most notable was the return of Juice Robinson, who had been out of action due to injury since November.
With Robinson’s return also came his teammates in the Bang Bang Gang, Austin and Colten Gunn, who had also been off AEW TV for a number of months.
It was MJF who picked up the win, meaning he now has a guaranteed future AEW World Title shot whenever he wants it.
Later in the show came the women’s Casino Gauntlet, which played host to a couple of debuts.
First up was Syuri, who was announced as having signed with AEW/ROH during last night’s ROH Supercard of Honor event.
Soon, another surprise entrant was Alex Windsor, who announced a few weeks ago that she had signed with AEW.
She’s previously had a couple of matches on Rampage last year when she wasn’t signed, but this goes down as her official full debut as a member of the roster.
For the women, it was ROH Women’s Champion Athena who picked up the win, meaning like MJF, she now has a guaranteed future AEW Women’s World Title shot.
