A new AEW tag team name has been confirmed for their match on tonight’s AEW Fyter Fest episode of Collision.
Since Kyle Fletcher turned on Will Ospreay at AEW WrestleDream and joined the Don Callis Family, he has received a big push on AEW programming.
Fletcher has also been teaming numerous times with fellow Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita, most notably at AEW Grand Slam Australia, where they were defeated by Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.
On social media, Fletcher has referred to the pair as ‘Protoshita’, a combination of Takeshita and Kyle’s Protostar nickname.
On tonight’s AEW Fyter Fest episode of Collision, Fletcher and Takeshita teamed with CMLL’s Hechicero, where they faced off with ROH World Champion Bandido and the Outrunners.
Ahead of the match, Kyle and Takeshita made their entrance, with them officially being referred to as ‘Protoshita’ on AEW television for the first time.
