New AEW Tag Team Name Revealed

The new name for an AEW tag team was revealed on tonight’s episode of Collision after recent championship matches.

Lio Rush and Action Andretti have become a more established tag team on AEW television in recent months after the pair split from Top Flight following tensions last year.

Andretti and Rush challenged for the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Private Party on Collision last month in a losing effort, and it seems they’re refocusing with a new direction and new team name.

In a video package that aired on tonight’s Collision, Lio Rush narrated the video, saying that we may know their names, but we don’t know who they are.

The video ended with them revealing their new team name ‘CRU’, seemingly standing for ‘Crazy, Ruthless, Unhinged’, as Lio Rush posted a follow up tweet saying:

Call us Crazy. Call us Ruthless. Call us Unhinged. Call us CRU #AEWCollision
