New AEW Tag Team Plans Potentially Revealed

Plans for a brand new AEW tag team have been potentially revealed following the release of a new report.

On September 18 it was reported by PWInsider that discussions had been held regarding a potential new AEW faction, one built around Deonna Purrazzo.

No further details were given in the report revealing who could potentially be involved in the group, or how far these talks had gotten in regards to the idea, but now a further update from Fightful Select has added some new insight.

In response to PWInsider’s report Fightful Select added that as well as a potential faction, the idea of a new tag team featuring Purrazzo had also been discussed.

Again, there were no further details given as to who could potentially be set to align with The Virtuosa on AEW TV.

For what its worth, Taya Valkyrie has been a recent ally of Purrazzo’s during her rivalry with Thunder Rosa throughout the Summer.
