The new and updated AEW TNT Championship belt has been revealed in a new video on social media featuring champion Cody ahead of his defence tonight.
The belt that debuted at Double or Nothing in May when Cody defeated Lance Archer to become the inaugural champion was heavily criticised, but it later came to light that it wasn’t the finished design and it had been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Check out the video below unveiling the updated strap, which is a definite improvement:

Since beating Archer, Cody has successfully defended the title against Jungle Boy, Marq Quen, Ricky Starks, Jake Hager, Sonny Kiss, Eddie Kingston and WARHORSE.
