New Bout Added To October 21 WWE SmackDown WWE

A new bout has been added to the October 21 edition of WWE SmackDown.

On the October 14 episode of SmackDown, Rey Mysterio defeated Ricochet, Solo Sikoa and Sheamus in a fatal four way match for a shot at Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.

During the finish of the bout, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso interfered to take Sheamus out until Ridge Holland and Butch of The Brawling Brutes interjected to even the odds.

Following those events, WWE has announced that Sheamus will go one-on-one with Solo Sikoa on the October 21 edition of SmackDown.

The company wrote the following about the bout on their website:

Sheamus had Solo Sikoa trapped in the Cloverleaf submission last week during a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way Match that also included Rey Mysterio and Ricochet. Before he could secure the win, though, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso suddenly came to the aid of their Bloodline cohort and sparked all-out chaos between themselves and The Brawling Brutes.

What will happen when The Celtic Warrior goes one-on-one against The Enforcer of The Bloodline? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on SmackDown on FOX.

Each star has responded to the announcement with Sheamus tweeting: “Banger incoming. #fightnight”.

Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa wrote:

Time to bang. You won’t be leaving the same way you walked in the ring when i’m finished with you. #Banger

The bout will join Logan Paul’s return and Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez on the lineup for tonight’s SmackDown.
