New Champions Crowned At NJPW New Japan Road

El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru are the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions after defeating Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI in the finals of the NJPW New Japan Road Tournament.

The match came about after the Suzuki-Gun team of El Desperado and Kanemaru defeated the Los Ingobernables de Japon duo of Takahashi and BUSHI on Wednesday, and they were once again able to come out on top to win the belts today (September 11).

It’s the second time Suzuki-Gun have held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, and you can check out highlights of the match below.
