New Champions Crowned On Raw

In a bit of a surprise, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy are the new tag-team champions.  Rollins and Murphy defeated The Viking Raiders in hour 3 of the January 20, 2020 edition of Raw.

The show opener saw Rollins cut a long promo explaining how Buddy Murphy joined as a disciple of the Monday Night Messiah. We also got a video recap of last week.

Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens came out to interrupt the prom0. They challenged Rollins, Murphy, and AOP to a fight.

However, they weren’t alone. They were joined by The Viking Raiders.

After the break, Rollins announced a tag team title match for later in the show. In another big surprise, instead of naming the actual tag team of his faction, he picked himself and Buddy Murphy.

It ended up being a good pick. Rollins and Murphy ended up beating The Viking Raiders in a fairly quick match.

This seems like this is eventually going to wind up with Joe and Kevin Owens getting a shot at the tag team titles. The money in this feud is Joe and Owens doing battle against Rollins and crew.
