A new championship match has been made official for next weekend’s WWE WrestleMania 41 event in Las Vegas.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, a World Tag Team Championship clash took place, with the War Raiders defending their titles against the New Day.
The match ended in a disqualification victory for the New Day, before Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would use a steel chair to target the surgically repaired necks of both Erik and Ivar.
The non-finish to the match led to many speculating that a rematch between the two teams could be set to take place at WrestleMania 41, with the match also reportedly being listed internally for the show.
Today, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce shared a video to social media, where he officially announced a rematch between the two teams for WrestleMania next weekend.
With this match being announced, there are now 13 matches set to take place across both nights of the show, with one more match reportedly set to be added, that being a replacement match for Randy Orton.
