On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (June 14) a top name in wrestling issued an open challenge, adding a Championship match to Forbidden Door.
In a pre-taped segment that aired on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA issued a huge challenge.
Issuing an open challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, SANADA has put the AEW locker room on notice.
It remains to be seen who will respond to the challenge however AEW continues to build towards their next pay-per-view, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the opening match was a title eliminator between AEW World Champion MJF and challenger Adam Cole.
And a teaser trailer from CM Punk aired in promotion of Saturday’s debut episode of AEW Collision.
