Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day will be in action at the upcoming NXT Vengeance Day special.
Kingston & Woods notably won the NXT Tag Team Championship at the the December 10 NXT Deadline event.
The duo have since returned to action on the main roster, with Kofi Kingston facing off against Santos Escobar on the January 6 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On the February 4 Vengeance Day premium live event, the New Day will make their first NXT Tag Team Title defence of the year, in a three way tag bout.
Kingston & Woods will defend their gold against Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) and Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)
Gallus had previously won a gauntlet bout on the January 10 episode of NXT to earn a title shot. Pretty Deadly was the team which New Day originally defeated for the gold at NXT Deadline.
The New Day isn’t the only main roster act to be involved in current NXT storylines, with Jinder Mahal making his return to the brand on last week’s show.
Former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews also notably rejoined the NXT roster in June 2022.
