WWE Lists The New Day As Greatest Ever Tag Team

The New Day were formed in WWE in late 2014, and here we are nearly seven years later and they remain on the top of the tag team division in the promotion.

WWE themselves have recently been running a series on Peacock, counting down the 50 Greatest WWE Tag Teams, and the trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods took home the top spot.

The remainder of the top five featured the Hardy Boyz, the Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart), Edge & Christian and the Dudley Boyz.

WCW, ECW and WWE Women’s tag teams were not featured in the list, but were featured in their own subsection of the series.

New Day have held the Tag Team Championships on eleven seperate occasions, as well as holding the record for the longest tag team title reign in company history.

This accolade comes at a time when WWE has been reportedly considering reuniting the trio after Big E was seperated in the 2020 WWE Draft.
