WWE has announced a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match for the upcoming WWE Day 1 pay-per-view.
On tonight’s (December 3) episode of SmackDown, Kofi Kingston made his return following a month on the shelf, to fight off the Usos with his tag team partner King Woods.
Later in the night, Kofi & Woods had an interview with Kayla Braxton, where Kofi revealed that he and the king will challenge the Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at Day 1.
WWE Day 1 streams live on the WWE Network and Peacock in the United States on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
