Writers Behind New Day WWE Raw 10-Year Anniversary Segment Revealed

The writers behind The New Day’s 10-year WWE anniversary segment on Monday Night Raw have now been revealed.

After months of brewing tension between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston we finally got an answer as to whether The New Day would survive beyond their 10-year anniversary on last night’s WWE Raw.

While many fans expected either Woods or Kingston to turn their backs on each other, what we instead got was both stars turning heel together after a returning Big E made a last ditch effort to keep The New Day alive.

The segment was one that garnered a whole host of responses afterwards, with Big E’s girlfriend Kris firing back at both Woods and Kingston following their harsh words, while AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs offered support to E also.

Now, courtesy of Fightful Select, we now know who was responsible for writing the segment, as a new backstage update from Raw credits Ben Saccoccio and Kari Hansen as the one’s behind what we saw play out in Everett, Washington.
