An update has emerged on a roster change for the New Day, following the now-famous Raw segment featuring Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E.
While many expected the dynamics within the New Day to change following their 10 year celebration on Monday’s (December 2) Raw episode, few people predicted that things would go down in the way they did.
After Big E made his WWE TV return, the popular star stated that he’ll be the New Day’s full-time manager moving forward to help repair Woods and Kingston’s friendship.
Surprisingly, Woods and Kingston sided with each other against Big E, arguing that the former WWE Champion chose his new life over the New Day.
The segment ended with Kingston and Woods refusing to hug an emotional Big E, who left the arena all alone.
While many fans interpreted this as the duo’s heel turn, backstage news has now emerged on Kingston and Woods’ statuses on the internal WWE roster.
Per PWInsider, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are now both internally listed as heels.
