New details have emerged regarding WWE’s next Saudi Arabia premium live event, after the success of its WWE Crown Jewel event.
WWE Crown Jewel took place on November 5, and saw reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defend his title against YouTuber-turned-wrestler Logan Paul.
WWE announced after the event that Crown Jewel 2022 was the most-viewed international WWE premium live event of all time.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is targeting the city of Jeddah for the next premium live event that it holds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The event will be part of WWE’s 10-year deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to create premium live events to promote Saudi Vision 2030.
It has previously been reported that the event will take place in May 2023.
It is not yet known what the event will be titled, whether it will be a continuation of a previously established premium live event held in the country, or be something entirely new.
Earlier this year, WWE held its annual Elimination Chamber event in the Kingdom, opening the door for it to hold another established yearly premium live event there.
