Earlier tonight on WWE Raw, The Miz took himself out of the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. His rationale is it is better for him to be outside the chamber and use his briefcase on the person who wins.
So, who would replace him? Later on in the night, Kofi Kingston defeated Miz to earn the final spot in the chamber.
The match was set up by Adam Pearce. If Miz won, John Morrison would get the final spot. However, given WWE was big on pushing former champions in the match, Kofi seemed like the obvious option.
He ended up winning clean over the Miz. Xavier Woods nor John Morrison were ringside. RETRIBUTION didn’t get involved either.
Kofi will join Sheamus, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Drew McIntyre in the chamber this Sunday. WrestleTalk will have live coverage of the show.
