New IMPACT World Champion Crowned

New IMPACT World Champion Crowned IMPACT

There was a new IMPACT World Champion crowned on tonight’s IMPACT special edition, Against All Odds after a hard fought battle.

After a hard hitting and all around fantastic match in the main event at IMPACT Against All Odds, Steve Maclin defended his IMPACT World Championship against Alex Shelley.

After a hard fought battle, in the end it was Alex Shelley who was able to blast Maclin into an exposed turnbuckle before following up with superkick and his Shell Shock finisher to capture the pinfall victory.

This marks Shelley’s first IMPACT World Championship, after previously holding the X Division championship and tag team gold.

Elsewhere on IMPACT Against All Odds, there was a first ever match to determine who would become the number one contender to Alex Shelley’s Championship.

The first ever 8-4-1 match was held featuring Heath, PCO, Nick Aldis, Jonathan Gresham, Rich Swann and Mike Bailey.

The winner would eventually be determined with Nick Aldis winning the landmark bout.
