It was announced today via a press conference in San Fransisco that New Japan Pro Wrestling will be returning to the Long Beach area later this year with three more shows.
The biggest of the three will be Fighting Spirit Unleashed. The show will take place on September 30th from the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, the same venue that hosted Strong Style Evolved earlier this year.
The other two shows announced are set to be Young Lion exclusive events similar to the Lion’s Gate Project events held in Japan. The name of the shows will be The Lion’s Break and will take place in Anaheim on November 10th and 11th.
New Japan Pro Wrestling is currently set to put on their second U.S. based event of the year as the G1 Special in San Fransisco takes place from the Cow Palace on Saturday night. Kenny Omega will defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against former Bullet Club stablemate Cody in the main event.
