The New Japan Cup continues to progress as another day of competition comes to a close. The first round of the tournament is almost over and the next round continues to become more clear.
Today the third day of the tournament took place. As a result, four more men moved on to the next round with some surprising results. This was an especially stacked show for tournament matches, with both SHO vs. Shingo Takagi and Kota Ibushi vs. Zack Sabre Jr. taking place. Both of those matches were on our list of first round matches you need to watch.
All four of the tournament matches were said to have been very good so if you have time this appears to be a show worth watching.

- SANADA def. Ryusuke Taguchi
