AEW has announced that MJF will face Brandon Cutler on the premiere show on TNT, on Wednesday, October 2.
This is added to the previously announced:
- Cody vs. Sammy Guevara, which carries Full Gear World Title match implications
- Riho vs. Nyla Rose – AEW Women’s World Championship
- Kenny Omega & Young Bucks vs. Chris Jericho & 2 Mystery Partners
- Jon Moxley to appear
MJF’s AEW debut was in the Casino Battle Royale at Double Or Nothing, and he also competed in a four-way at Fyter Fest, both those matches being won by Hangman Adam Page.
He did pick up a win in his most recent AEW match though as he, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears beat the team of Darby Allin, Joey Janela and Jimmy Havoc in a 3-on-3 tag match at Fight for the Fallen.
MJF was in Cody’s corner at August 31’s All Out for his win over Spears.
Cutler so far has only competed in the Double Or Nothing Battle Royale, but is also AEW’s Executive Content Producer.
The match was announced on the latest Being The Elite, which you can watch here:
