New Match Added To G1 Supercard Show

The night before WrestleMania 35, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be taking over Madison Square Garden for the G1 Supercard. The show will feature Kazuchika Okada challenging Jay White for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and Tetsuya Naito defending his IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Kota Ibushi in what promises to be a sensational match.

On a weekend where WWE is having three of their female competitors headline their biggest show of the year, Wrestling Inc. is reporting that one more women’s match has been added to the G1 Supercard lineup.

Before today, the only women’s match on the card featured Mayu Iwatani defending her Women of Honor Championship against former champion Kelly Klein. However, it has now been revealed that they will be joined by Hazuki, Kagetsu, and Jenny Rose who will take on the trio of Sumie Sakai, Hana Kimura and Stella Grey in six-woman tag team action. The match will take place on the pre-show.
