WWE has taken to social media to announce a new match for the September 1 Super Tuesday edition of NXT on the USA Network.
The new match will see Bronson Reed take on Timothy Thatcher in singles action.
Reed was unsuccessful in the North American Title ladder match at TakeOver XXX on August 22, while Thatcher lost to Finn Balor on that same show.
On last week’s NXT, a Reed backstage interview was interrupted by a returning Austin Theory, so it’s possible Theory could get involved for the finish.
Also announced for the show are:
- Legado Del Fantasma vs. Breezango & Isaiah Scott – Street Fight
- Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa – 1-hour Ironman Match for the NXT Championship
