NXT General Manager William Regal has taken to Twitter to announce a new match for tomorrow’s July 29 episode of NXT on the USA Network.
The new match will see former North American Champions Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong compete in singles action.
Gargano and Strong were both part of a three-way match last week to qualify for a ladder match at TakeOver: XXX to determine the new North American Champion, but Bronson Reed won and qualified.
Speaking of which, one of the other matches that has been announced for tomorrow is the second three-way qualifier, with Finn Bálor, Dexter Lumis and Timothy Thatcher all vying to get to TakeOver.
It’s also been announced that NXT Champion Keith Lee will be appearing to respond to Karrion Kross’ attack on Dominik Dijakovic last week, and Mercedes Martinez will face Shotzi Blackheart.
