New Match Announced For June 16 WWE SmackDown

A new match has been announced for next week’s (June 16) episode of WWE SmackDown.

Last night’s episode of SmackDown saw two women’s Money In The Bank qualifiers, with Bayley and IYO SKY qualifying for the match with victories over Michin and Shotzi respectively.

The two join Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark in the bout, but we don’t have to wait until London to see some of those names face off.

On the SmackDown LowDown, Bayley and IYO bragged about earning their spots in the match before they were interrupted by Zelina, who challenged either woman to face off with her next week.

The challenge was very quickly accepted by IYO SKY.

Two men’s Money In The Bank qualifiers also took place on last night’s show, with Butch and Santos Escobar qualifying with victories over Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali respectively.

Also set for next week’s show is a tag team gauntlet to determine the next challengers for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s championship.

A mixed tag team match between Michin and AJ Styles against Karrion Kross and Scarlett is also set for the show, as well as the return of Roman Reigns, and Charlotte Flair on the Grayson Waller Effect.
