AEW is set to hold this week’s episode of AEW Rampage tonight (October 28), and the card for the show has already gone through a big change.
Yesterday, it was noted that Wheeler Yuta, who was scheduled for the show, teaming with Claudio Castagnoli against Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of 2point0, was double-booked due to him also having a prior booking commitment with NJPW Strong on the same day.
In his place, the tag team match was scrapped, being replaced by AEW World Champion Jon Moxley taking on Matt Menard in an AEW World Championship eliminator match on the show.
That isn’t the only new match set for the show though, as Tony Khan took to Twitter earlier today to announce that Keith Lee will be in action on tonight’s episode of the show, with his opponent not being named.
Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, Swerve In Our Glory, picked up a victory on this week’s Dynamite show, defeating FTR to earn a shot at the Acclaimed’s AEW World Tag Team Championship, the third match between the two teams.
The other matches set for tonight are Madison Rayne taking on Tay Melo, as well as Wardlow defending his TNT Championship against Matt Taven of The Kingdom.
After a win in a classic #1 contenders match on Dynamite, 1/2 of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions Limitless @RealKeithLee will be in action TONIGHT on a LIVE #AEWRampage coming up SOON on @TNTdrama!
Friday Night #AEWRampage
Coming up at 10pm ET/9pm CT on TNT
