On the latest episode of Being the Elite, it was officially confirmed that the Young Bucks will challenge the Lucha Bros. in a ladder match for the AAA Tag Team Championships at AEW All Out on August 31.
Lucha Bros. laid down the challenge following their win over SoCal Uncensored at Fight for the Fallen, and 10 minutes into the latest BTE, the Bucks accepted.
They pointed out that they’ve beaten the Hardys in a ladder match before, and have competed in ROH’s Ladder Wars, giving them a distinct advantage.
The two teams squared off in a regular tag match at AEW’s first show Double or Nothing in May, when then-champions Matt and Nick Jackson retained the AAA Tag Titles.
Pentagon and Fenix would then win the titles at AAA’s Verano de Escándalo show on June 16.
The updated official card for All Out so far is:
- Jericho vs. Page – World Title
- Omega vs. Moxley
- Dark Order vs. Best Friends
- Lucha Bros (c) vs. Bucks – Ladder Match – AAA Tag Titles
