On the December 28, 2020, edition of WWE Raw, Keith Lee and Sheamus were set to have a match where the winner would earn a title shot against Drew McIntyre. WWE announced on Raw the match for the WWE Championship would take place on the following week’s show.
The match kicked off the show and Sheamus would try to kick off Keith Lee’s head prior to the match. In spite of taking a Brogue Kick before the bell even rand, Keith Lee was able to battle back and win the match.
Keith Lee is the new number 1 contender for Drew McIntyre and the WWE Championship. Lee will face Drew McIntyre on the first Raw of 2021.

Next Monday’s Raw is Legends Night. Some of the advertised appearances include Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Big Show, Alicia Fox, Torrie Wilson, Michael Hayes, Jimmy Hart, Sgt. Slaughter, and many more.
