New Number NXT Title Number 1 Contender Crowned

Tonight on NXT, Killian Dain took on Matt Riddle in a Number 1 Contender’s Street Fight for the NXT Title.  In a match that didn’t really have a ton of street fight until the latter half, Matt Riddle used a chair and kendo stick to become the new number 1 contender for the NXT Title.

Riddle will move on to face Adam Cole next week on the first 2 hour show on the USA Network. They are presenting this show with limited commercial interruptions and will feature several championship matches.

This match become the 3rd title match announced for next week.  Shayna Baszler will defend her Women’s Title against Candice LeRae.

We are also getting another portion of the Undisputed Era.  Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly will defend the NXT Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits.

Next week is a huge week of WWE programming.  It’s the season premiere of RAW, the first 2 hour USA show for NXT, and the Smackdown Debut on FOX.

A lot of titles will be on the line.  Will the Original Bro become the NXT Champ-bro-in or will the NXT Title stay Undisputed.  Tune in to WrestleTalk.com next Wednesday Night as we will have live coverage of the NXT show on USA.
