
NXT has shared a video on social media, confirming that the brand will be rebooted ahead of the September 14 episode.
Next week’s September 7 show will be the final edition before the brand resumes live broadcasting the following week. It has been confirmed that the September 7 show will also be the final episode of the Gold era.
On Twitter, NXT posted a teaser video, showing the the Capitol Wrestling Center receiving a fresh coat of paint. The video was captioned:
“A new #WWENXT arrives on September 14.”

Beth Phoenix had previously teased that the reported repackaged NXT would debut on September 14, tweeting:
“Trust your Aunty Betty…. @WWENXT is ready to level up Sept 14 …plus… the wedding we all NEED!! #Index #WeAreNXT #TheFuture“
Following reports that the rebooted product will be a Vince McMahon & Bruce Prichard production, ‘RIP NXT‘ began to trend on Twitter. Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has noted that he is excited about the changes in store for the brand.
