AEW isn’t the only promotion to have just crowned a new World Champion as the ROH Title also changed hands at Gateway to Honor.
RUSH is now a two-time ROH World Champion as he defeated defending champion PCO and Mark Haskins to win the title in the main event of the show, PCO’s 78-day reign.
PCO defeated RUSH for the title at Final Battle on December 13, 2019 in a ‘Friday the 13th Massacre’ match. RUSH’s previous reign lasted 77 days after he defeated Matt Taven at Death Before Dishonor in September.
