A new role for AEW star Paul Wight (formerly known as Big Show in WWE) has been confirmed on tonight’s airing of Ring of Honor.
There is a new authority figure in Ring of Honor and he is a familiar face as a professional wrestling legend has officially been given a new position on-screen.
On tonight’s airing of Ring of Honor, it was officially revealed that Paul Wight has been appointed to be on the Ring of Honor “Board of Directors”.
With his new authority, he quickly made a match official for the upcoming ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
Wight revealed that the Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) will put their ROH Tag Team Chapionship on the line against Kyle O’Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii at Death Before Dishonor.
Elsewhere on the card, ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe is in action against an Undisputed Kingdom representative as well, as he defends his title agianst Roderick Strong.
Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor is set for Friday July 26, 2024 at Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas, which is also the host venue for AEW Collision for the next few weeks.
